Why are precious moments statues made in indoneisia?
i am doing a project for social studies and we had to find something we bought in the US but was made in another country. so i picked one of my precius moments statues wich says its made in indoneisa. then i need to say why do i think it was made in that country but i cant find anything! i need help!! please help! the projects due tomorrow!
“Precious Moments” statues are made in Indonesia due to two factors:
1) Labor costs are substantially cheaper in low-wage countries.
2) Profitability is greatly enhanced due to low labor costs.
It is actually more profitable to manufacture a product overseas, ship it to America, and sell it here than it is to manufacture it in the United States.
