How do you care for a very large peace lily?
I have a 5 foot high and about 4 ft wide peace lily. It was blooming and bushy but is dying quickly, sent to my mom’s funeral, leaves browning and dying out. Does anyone know how to keep it alive? It is too big for me to repot alone, so I want to keep it in the same pot. Does it need food? It’s in patio window getting low level light and water to keep it from drooping. Will flourescent light tube help? Thanks.
Peace Lilies like low light. Any place outside is too much light for them.
I’d bring it indoors, and set it off to the side of a window…but not directly in front of a window.
They also like moisture, but not too much. Allow the soil to become somewhat dry to the touch before watering it…then water it thoroughly.
Hopefully it will survive. The outdoors might have been too much for it.
