Frog that lives off roots of plant in a vase?
I had one in when I was a little girl for years the cat knocked it over and ate it. It lives off of the roots you just have to add water of course but I want again and forget what its called or where I can find one, It was popular in around 2003.
Its a tiny frog and its a nice sized vase.
African dwarf frog.

Many aquarium shops will have them or can get them, though they are illegal in some states. They don’t feed off the plant roots, all frogs are carnivores as adults. You need to give them a food that will sink as they are bottom feeders. They do root around roots looking for food, probably why people think they eat them. Cute little things in an ugly way, have had several over the years.
