What is a good dance class for girls who want to be cheerleaders?
I am in 8th grade and I’m starting high school next year. At the camp I’m going to, you have to pick a minor because it’s a cheer camp. I want to improve my dance skills, so which class should I take?
Hip-hop
Jazz
Ballet
Contemporary
Mixed

I think that jazz would be best because it combines the stretching and strengthening of ballet with the fun moves and cheerleading qualities of hip-hop. But contemporary would be good too. It just might not be as helpful to use in your routines.
