What was the original name of Arras in northern France, which is given by its founder Atrebates?
BQ: What is the reason most it was probably named it?
The capital was called Nemetacum (and sometimes Nemetocenna), then he took the Atrebates name (or Atrebatii) after the founder, then the name was eventually corrupted into Arrasnow, then shortened to Arras. The name is derived from the Gaulish word Nemetacum "Nemeton", the "sanctuary or "means sacred wood." It was named because the area was inhabited by the Gauls and Nemeton was a goddess of theirs. She was the goddess of the sacred forest.
